Learn about transcendent dreaming at a bed retailer; what a cool concept

Hästens on Beverly will host a presentation by author Christina Donnell, Ph.D. This is a really unique book promotion in the Los Angeles area.

Dr. Christina Donnell, Ph.D., author of the National Best Books 2008 Awards finalist Transcendent Dreaming: Stepping into Our Human Potential, offers evidence that through the profound vehicle of dreaming, the mind can undergo a radical shift in consciousness. Hailed by many notable practitioners and thinkers in integrative medicine and healing, Dr. Donnell’s thesis suggests that while dreaming it is possible to develop transcendent capacities and gradually approach a state of oneness with all of creation—an awareness she proposes lies dormant in humankind, ready to be awakened.

In the foreword to the book, Larry Dossey, M.D., has this to say: “Has the universe birthed Christina Donnell and this book because of an urgent need in a desperate time? One is tempted to think so … she has seen and participated in a oneness with all creation. If we are to flourish as a species, the realization of this connectivity, this web of life, is crucial.”

Dr. Donnell’s talk, “The Secret of Transcendence: Where Sleep Is Sublime and Your Inner Self Is Free to Explore,” will be on Sunday, January 18, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at Hästens on Beverly, 8827 Beverly Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90048.

Christina Donnell, Ph.D. is a classically trained clinical psychologist who has studied Eastern traditions and the shamanic energy practices of the Q’ero Indians of Peru for nearly two decades. Currently a resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota, she maintains a consultation practice and travels extensively, conducting workshop intensives, giving public lectures, and leading experiential expeditions.
