Did you see the stellar triangle Monday night?

 

 

 

Last Saturday I wrote about the rare celestial occultation that happened on Monday December 1. During this event Venus and Jupiter, two of the brightest planets, lined up in a triangular formation with the Moon. Because the Moon was in its crescent shape, it illuminated the planets, giving us mere humans a spectacular view. Unfortunately, some of us in South Florida missed it due to rain and clouds but Examiner has some fabulous pictures.
