Yoga and Flexibility
We think of yoga and flexibility linked together. Lithe bodies and amazing flexibility but this is not the flexibility I am going to address. Okay I will give it alms and adoration for one brief second. Yes it will make you both stronger and more flexible. Few things can promise you both usually it is one or the other.
The flexibility I want to speak of is flexibility of mind and soul. Yoga, which literally means to yoke or unite, connects the parts of you. The more connected you are to you the more grace space you create and this moat of space creates great flexibility. Everything comes out of the realm of must and must not or my way or great disturbances. Flexibility of mind means you can go with the flow, you can change the flow, or you can open to possibilities. Things can come out of the challenge category and become interesting. Interesting makes your curious and that allows flexibility.
Yoga expands your mind about what is possible. It gives you a deeper connection to the you in you. It starts to change your life and life styles very slowly. You find your self choosing different things. More veggies than meat, more things that serve you instead of take you down it is a journey, your journey. Your soul starts flexing itself and you start moving from a different platform in your life. It is no longer just about you and yours but about what I call the me, be, we syndrome. Things matter, your awareness expands you are a part of everything so you start acting like what you do and say matters. You become more conscious. People want to know what you are doing because you look good. You have a glow. You get to share it.
It becomes a lifestyle and you can flex you power inside of that by putting your money where your heart is. You start hanging out with people who are more whole and caring. You start caring more and best of all you see how and where you can serve others and it is not drudgery but Sewa. You get Sewa, (selfless service) and when you feel weird you go take care of someone else instead of being crazy. This is the true flex power of yoga are you ready for this? Then jump on in. You won’t regret it.
